Shipping policy
At Australian Alpaca Barn, we aim to prepare and dispatch your order as quickly as possible. Orders are generally packed and ready for dispatch within 2 business days of being received.
Domestic Shipping — Australia
We ship Australian orders via Australia Post. Delivery times may vary depending on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout.
Standard Post
Standard delivery usually takes approximately 2–8 business days after dispatch, depending on your destination.
Express Post
Express delivery usually takes approximately 1–4 business days after dispatch, depending on your destination.
Express Post is available for Australian orders and can be selected at checkout.
Once your order has been dispatched, tracking details will be sent to you.
International Shipping
We offer international shipping via Australia Post International Standard.
International delivery times are generally between 7–21 business days, depending on the destination country and local customs processing times.
Please note that international orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or local charges once they arrive in the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend checking your country’s import and tax requirements before placing an order.
Free domestic shipping offers do not apply to international orders unless otherwise stated.
Shipping Rates
- Australian Shipping
Standard shipping within Australia is $9.45 for orders valued at $150 or less.
Complimentary standard shipping applies to orders over $150.
Australia Post Express Post is also available at checkout.
- International Shipping
We currently ship selected products to international markets for a flat shipping rate of AUS $50.
Some oversized or bulky items are excluded from our standard international shipping rates.
If you are located in a country that is not currently available at checkout, or you would like to purchase a bulky or oversized item for international delivery, please contact us at hello@australianalpaca.com for a personalised shipping quote. We are always happy to see whether delivery can be arranged for your location.
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes or other charges that may be applied by the destination country. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost and may be payable before delivery.
Orders to the United States
We are currently monitoring changes to customs duties, tariffs and import requirements for orders entering the United States. If additional information, charges or shipping arrangements are required to complete your order, we may contact you before dispatch. In some circumstances, an additional payment may be required before your order can be shipped.
Delivery Delays
Delivery times are estimates only and may be longer during peak periods, public holidays, severe weather events, or other delays within the postal network.
